E.T. Barrandey

 

inmemory barrandeyE.T. Barrandey died Monday, March 12. His daughter, Bahola Edwards, is the Assistant to the President. Mr. Barrandey is also the uncle of Elsa Barrandey, secretary to the Dean of Student Services and grandfather of Michele Van Stavern, parttime clerk in Dr. Jolly's office.

 

He was born May 7, 1927 on the Adobes Ranch in Presidio County. He worked for the City of McCamey for 41 years, served in the U.S. Army and was a member of the American Legion. He was also the President of the McCamey Lions Club and a member of the Sacred Heart Catholic Church.

 

Survivors include his wife of 60 years. Ramona Barrandey of McCamey; sons, raymond Barrandey of Green River, Wyoming, Louis Barrandey of Midland and Freddy Barrandey of Lovington, New Mexico; daughters, Linda Aguilar of Ranking, Bahola Edwards and Biola Barrera, both of Midland; brother, Joe T. Barrandey of McCamey; 19 grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren.
